Energy infrastructure as a service

Solutions

Heavy transport is electrifying fast, and charging must not slow the fleet down. When a heavy vehicle stops to unload, load or take a break, charging has to happen inside that window.

We bring battery-buffered high-power charging to where the fleet is, with no heavy capital investment and no dependence on the grid connection’s momentary capacity.

How it works

Energy and power, separated in time

The core of our solutions is the temporal separation of energy and power. Energy is collected into the battery when it is available and inexpensive, and released to vehicles when fast charging is needed.

Because the two are separated, a site can charge at a higher power than its grid connection was designed to supply. The connection only has to carry the average, not the peak. That removes the substation, the medium-voltage upgrade and the years of waiting from the equation. Intelligent energy management and dynamic power sharing distribute the available power between connected vehicles.

EV Mobile™ Charge

High-power charging from a low-voltage connection

EV Mobile™ Charge is a battery-buffered high-power charging station for sites of every kind, including those where grid capacity is limited. It charges passenger vehicles and heavy fleet, and the solution expands as demand grows.

The solution suits permanent and long-term sites where charging demand builds up in stages and use concentrates into peaks. The battery also allows the cost of charging energy to be optimized. Chargers are delivered on site as a complete service.

Who it serves

One service, four groups of users

EV Mobile™ mCharge is a charging service for fleets that have to keep moving and cannot be tied to fixed infrastructure. A mobile charging vehicle brings 150 kW of charging power to the site on your schedule. It suits mobile worksites, route junctions and interim depots where charging is needed within defined time windows, and it can be delivered as a one-off, as a recurring service or under a longer agreement. It also lowers operating costs by letting fleet utilization, routing and shifts be planned around charging rather than the other way around.

EV Mobile™ eGenerator is a battery-buffered charging solution for sites with no fixed charging infrastructure. It runs from a 63 A connection, or its 175 kWh storage can be replenished by mCharge with no grid connection at all. It also allows buses to be electrified quickly, or a new route to be tested, by bringing temporary charging to the depot or along the route. Monitoring is remote and energy replenishment automatic. Battery and charging equipment sit in one unit, which makes it easy to move and reduces the groundworks an outdoor site would otherwise need. It replaces the conventional diesel generator.

What is always included

We carry the technical risk

Every solution is delivered under a service agreement. Ownership of the equipment stays with us, and so does responsibility for it working. For the customer this means predictable cost, no stranded assets and one accountable partner instead of a supply chain.

01

Full maintenance and servicing, spare parts included

02

24/7 monitoring and fault response

03

Insurance and equipment replacement

04

A service level agreement for critical operation

What it delivers

Charging that works from day one

The figures describe EV Mobile™ Charge. mCharge and eGenerator deliver 150 kW with 175 kWh of storage.

320 kW

Maximum charging power

960 kWh

Daily capacity

€ 0

Capital investment

Charging is delivered as a service, so the equipment, the installation and the monitoring stay with us. There is no capital investment and no hardware to procure.

Capacity is sized to how charging is actually used and expanded as demand grows, so the system does not have to be built for a projected peak at the outset.
