One thing is common to every application: charging has to work immediately, even when the grid is not yet flexible.
Charging is not a convenience. It is a precondition for the operation and part of the schedule. When a vehicle stops to unload or load, charging has to happen inside that window, reliably and often for several vehicles at once.
The solution supports high fleet utilization without charging dictating the timetable.
For municipalities, charging is part of accessibility, vitality and climate targets. The need already exists, but capacity, investment decisions and schedules move at different speeds. The solution allows a controlled start and development in stages, with no heavy investment. At destinations and service areas, charging demand concentrates into seasons and passing traffic. Fast charging has to be available exactly at the peak, but sizing capacity for a handful of peaks makes no sense. The solution supports visitor flow and the appeal of the area without over-sizing.
In retail and parking, customers stay for a limited time and charging has to deliver something real within the visit. At the same time, the property’s other electricity use limits available charging power. Battery buffering separates customer charging from the property’s momentary capacity.
At some sites there is no grid connection at all, or it is insufficient. On construction sites, at events and in productions, power and charging have to be available immediately, often temporarily and in changing conditions. The solution delivers power quickly, with no permanent infrastructure.
What the applications have in common is that charging is needed before the infrastructure is ready.
